Medic First Aid Course includes merit badge

Posted on Dec 30 2018 - 2:04pm
Dwon Guvenir, an instructor from CPR Lifeline and a Troop 149 parent, is volunteering his time and office space to teach the First Aid Merit Badge (an Eagle required merit badge). This will be a certified Medic First Aid course which includes Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid.  This class is open to all scouts, adult leaders and parents.  This is a great opportunity for scouts to earn their first aid merit badge, work on rank requirements (related to first aid), and finish up requirement 1 for the Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge.  It is also great for parents to learn or refresh their life-saving skills in addition to basic first aid.  Each class will cost $15.00 per person for the certification cards (normally $85.00) and is limited to 16 participants.
